Join the Conversation: Effective 1st February 2022, Health Professionals will no longer be required to submit CPD certificates on the HPCSA online portal.
The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) has discontinued random sampling practitioners from the database to verify compliance of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements. Effective 1 February 2022, the Medical and Dental Boards approved that CPD service providers will submit attendance registers of CPD activities directly to HPCSA for processing. Therefore, going forward, there will not be a need for practioners to upload individual CPD certificates from approved providers and accreditors.
It is under this context that the Clinical Care Platform has invited representatives from the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) to share information related to latest developments in processes for CPD certificate submssion and the Online Portal. The Agenda is as follows:
