Dispensing 2-day Live Tutorial

Description: 

This is a tutorial for Dispensing licence registrants needing additional support or a fast track program to complete 8 learning activities/assignments for the Portfolio of Evidence (POE) required to complete the course. The tutorial is hosted via a live virtual event on zoom.   

Assessment:

All learners are expected to complete all 8 learning activities and submit the POE within 7 days of completing the workshop. Previous learners who completed tutorials managed to complete the Dispensing course on time and reduced the completion time from 6 months to 3 months.

Course Design:

• Learning Activity 2: Dispensing labels
• Learning Activity 3: Prescription records
• Learning Activity 4: Dispensing calculations
• Learning Activity 5: Patient information leaflet (PIL)
• Learning Activity 6: Drug interactions case studies
• Learning Activity 7: Standard operating procedures
• Learning Activity 8: An audit of the drug supply management system
• Preparation for the MCQ summative assessment
